After years of waiting, the severely dilapidated former Ventimiglia dispensary is finally being demolished! This has for so long been a blot on the sea front, a permanent eyesore for as long as most of us can remember. As with most things in Ventimiglia, progress, though often slow, is continuous. Followers of the Comune’s Facebook Page await with some interest news of what will replace the former ruin; the general feeling is to hope for something more interesting than yet another bar, though in these difficult economic times any change is better than none.
